Strange Talk bundle

Wind-up Welcomes STRANGE TALK to the Family!

We are starting the Summer off right, as Wind-up has officially added Australia's indie-pop group, Strange Talk, to the family. Already having grabbed the #1 spot on the blog charts, Strange Talk will release their self-produced debut album, Cast Away, in the States on August 20, 2013.

You should probably get your dancing shoes worn in early, though, so go ahead and download a free song here and pre-order the new album here or pick up the EP on iTunes here! And if you're the kind of person that wears shirts, we have some exclusive tees are also available with the pre-order!

Critical acclaim has circulated early and often around Strange Talk, as Rolling Stone in Australia recently gave Cast Away a whopping four out of five star review, describing it as "Equal parts Cut Copy and Daft Punk with pinches of Eighties pop, Strange Talk's album is a fizzy cocktail of synths, breathy vocals and tinny drums."

Strange Talk has drawn comparisons to Passion Pit, MGMT, and Vampire Weekend, in addition to having played shows with The Rapture and Neon Indian and Foster The People.  Good enough company? We think so too.

The band will also be coming to the US for some shows in August, so stay tuned to the band online in the meantime for updates on music, tour dates, remixes, videos & more at http://www.strangetalkmusic.com
